About Gen Kit Exchange and Kit Pest Reviews
Gen Kit Exchange is for soldiers and kit enthusiasts who spend too much time browsing kit online, who want a quick, reliable and hassle-free way to buy and sell personally owned military kit.
Gen Kit Exchange is an easy-to-use online marketplace for listing and browsing kit that provides listing and purchasing capabilities in a trustworthy, military orientated environment.
Unlike Facebook buy/sell groups, Gen Kit Exchange encompasses a safe trading platform, dependable sellers (comprising of manufacturers, retailers and individuals), that is founded by a serving soldier. This also includes impartial, down-to-earth, honest reviews from ex-serving and serving personnel called Kit Pest Reviews.
It was created by myself, Alex Miller, a serving soldier.Kit Pest Reviews from Gen Kit Exchange and Cooper's Kit Corner's aim, is to bring you up to date information on what kit works and what doesn't. Here's a bit about our Kit Pest reviewers;
Ben OToole: Ben served for ten years as an Officer in the RAMC and RRF, with tours in all the usual places. After the Army Ben worked for a Private Security Company in Afghanistan in an intelligence role. From there he worked for a Global Response and Assistance company where he was responsible for carrying out political evacuations and dealing with kidnaps for ransom. Ben now runs his own consultancy dealing with resilience and preparedness. Along the way he has also been a teacher and had his own Martial Arts Club. Ben is still actively travelling all over the world, into austere environments, so needs kit he can rely on. When he isn’t away he’s a keen outdoorsman and an Explorer Scout Leader.
Callum Bickerton: Gunner, serial kit pest. 8 years regular and reserve. One tour of Afghanistan.
Tom Cooper:(From the Kit Corner) 13 years in 3 PWRR the last 6 in CIS. Doesn't get much opportunity to play with bayonets these days but wants to stop blokes spending money on shit kit that they could have spent on Sodexo's and beer.
